Barnes & Noble
We provided full architectural services for Barnes & Noble bookstores with cafés nationwide, from early concept through construction. Each location was thoughtfully designed to create a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere that invites customers to browse, linger, and return. We focused on integrating the retail and café experiences into a cohesive environment, balancing brand standards with site-specific opportunities.
Ghirardelli Chocolate & Ice Cream Shop
This redesign boasts North America’s most extensive cascading chocolate wall, the authentic 19-foot “G” from the historic Ghirardelli sign, a completely new engineered staircase, a charming replica San Francisco cable car that serves as additional seating, a captivating display of antique chocolate-making equipment, and numerous other delightful surprises for patrons to explore.
Love Wins
WJCA is extremely proud to have worked alongside Lovepop to design their Flagship location in Cambridge, MA. Lovepop appeared on season 7 of “Shark Tank,” where Kevin O’Leary became an investor in their laser cut, pop up greeting cards. When meeting with WJCA, Lovepop told them they wanted help designing, getting approvals, and making sure the store had a WOW factor. We are particularly proud of the iconic rainbow tunnel.
